• 1.0 out of 5 stars from Cathleen Everett -- Cover is misleading. : This is not a Christmas read. I did a search for Christmas books and this looked like fun. Instead, I was horrified by a collection of dark, disturbing short stories - some of which are set at Christmas time. The Usual Santa's short story is the only one I liked in the entire book. I would never have willingly read stories of psychopaths and severed heads. I'm sure the cover and description of the Usual Santa's has lead many unsuspecting buyers into purchasing this nightmare. Will use the book as a reference to order more books by some of the authors in this collection. If I had known about this earlier in the year, I would have used it as gift material for Christmas.
